At HealthWorks we have chosen
to be the only private Family PACT provider in San Luis Obispo County
because we believe in the importance of providing accessible, affordable
reproductive care.
We are also providers for the CDP, Cancer Detection Program, for older
women who do not qualify for FPACT.

Family PACT
What is Family PACT?
Family PACT (Planning, Access, Care and Treatment) is a program through
the state of California that was started in 1997 to offer comprehensive
reproductive heath and family planning services to low-income women
and men. The program fills a critical gap in healthcare and greatly
increases access to family planning services in California.

Who Qualifies:
Men and women who live in California can qualify for Family PACT’s
low cost or no cost services through HealthWorks if they:
- Are a resident of the state of California
- Have a family income at or below 200% of the federal poverty level.
For example, in 2006, this amount was $19,600 for single or $40,000
for a family of four.
- Be of reproductive age
- Be without insurance or have an unmet or high deductible (i.e.
$2,500 or more)
- Have a confidentiality reason for not accessing their existing
insurance coverage

you determine if you are eligible for Family PACT.
